What a decade this year has been

Countdown to 12 PM

A Noon Year’s Eve celebration is a great way to ring in the New Year if you or your kids have trouble staying up until Midnight. For easy preparation serve lunch or a variety of snacks. I made a pizza with pepperoni arranged in the number of the new year. To keep things light I had some fruits and vegetables ready.

Make it Special

Keep things easy but make it special. I got some cotton candy and tore off little clouds to suspend over fancy glasses. Pour sparkling cider over the top for a fun drink.

Have everyone write down wishes for the New Year and keep them to read next New Year’s. A few confetti poppers to POP in the New Year and you’ve set the tone for an optimistic year!

Easy Decorations

Look to see what you already have and let that help dictate your theme - it’s New Year’s so practically anything will work. I used some things I already had from our Keeper of the Lost Cities Party.

For an easy, custom sign nothing beats craft paper, stencils, and markers. I cut out clock hands from black cardstock.
